• BOBSLED JAMAICA & DUNNS RIVER FALLS

I try to do some shore excursions when I take cruises. This was my first time in OCHO RIOS JAMAICA. We were in OCHO RIOS for 8 hours of fun. I found this excursion through carnival cruiseline that consisted of 3 adventures- a skylift, bobsledding, and a river falls. We also were able to see some of the country side while traveling to the location. When arriving at our location we had to take a skylift to the bobsled. The views from up high were awesome. Bobsledding is a popular excursion in Ocho Rios. This stems from the Olympics. This is somewhat like a mountain coaster. It was lots of…

  • ROTARY CLUB PARADE

Today I enjoyed the 1st annual Inaugural Rotary Club Parade in downtown Orlando. Many volunteers came together to make this parade very successful. The parade had bands, floats, horses, antique cars, motorcycles, firetrucks, the mayor of Orlando, and it ended with the biggest and most important Santa Clause. The Rotary Club has helped many people and changed lots of lives here since 1920. With such a wonderful parade I’m sure that this was the 1st of many more to come. Bring sometime to sit on like a seat cushion. #rotaryclub #parade #downtownorlando #christmas #affordableadventuresforall https://rotaryclub.com Thank you for coming to my site. • DOLLYWOOD

Dollywood is my favorite theme park. Its located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. They have 7 rollercoasters. My favorite one was the Lightning Rod. The Lightning Rod opened last year and had many problems so now it is closed til next season. It was the fastest wooden launch rollercoasters in the world. My next favorite is the Eagle. It’s a very smooth loop coaster. I hope you have on your walking shoes today because you will do lots of walking. Here are some walking shoes you may like if you are in need of some. Dollywood has some smaller rides for kids and 2 water rides. They also have a few…

  • Chankanaab National Park in Cozumel, Mexico

This is one of the best excursions I have experienced. In researching things to do in Cozumel I found Chankanaab National Park. When I saw their dolphin excursion I knew I wanted to do this one. I swam with the dolphins  a couple of years ago but not in Cozumel. Also this park has a lot to offer for the price. They have swimming with dolphins and manatees, soaring through the air on a zip line, kayaking,  a sea lion show, crocodile farm, archeological path of sculptures and botanical gardens with 350 species of plants. They also have underwater Christ and Virgin sculptures for diving, scuba, sea trec, and snorkeling…

  • CITRUS BOWL PARADE part 2

We purchased reserved seats in the media area in advance while thinking we would have a great view and maybe get to enjoy the artists who were performing. Well it only takes once to know that I wasted money. With the exception that it was a donation to www.givekidstheworld.com   I’m thankful I could donate. All of the reserved seats were blocked by floats which were put behind the artists as they performed for the TV recording. Otherwise they would have been great seats. Future advise – if you want to see the performances do not sit across from the TV cameras.  You still need a camera to make your own…

  • BALLOON GLOW 2018

Fall is in the air. This is the first cool weekend we’ve had in central Florida this year. It was the perfect time for a HOT AIR BALLOON ride whether you are an enthusiast or just curious like me. I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time. This is a 3 day event at Blue Jacket Park in Baldwin Park here in Orlando. It starts at 5pm each day til 9:30pm and at 8:00 some of the balloons glow for a short time. The event has a few vendors, food trucks, and a kids zone with even a pony ride. One thing they need more of is restrooms.…

  • CITRUS BOWL PARADE

Today was the CITRUS BOWL PARADE in downtown Orlando. The parade was sponsored by GIVE KIDS THE WORLD. They did a great job planning it with many school bands, beautiful floats, local celebrities, local clubs, and even professional celebrities from different musical genres.   Ten of the floats were made from about 120,000 pieces of citrus fruit. They were all made in only 3 days and after the parade all of the fruit is donated to local food banks. One thing that would have been helpful was seat cushions. Seat cushions like these would have been helpful. Some floats JOHNNY DAMON Grand Marshal NORM LEWIS Grand Marshal ALYSSA RAGHU CHARLY REYNOLDS…

  • THE LARGEST SHIP IN THE WORLD

Does anyone know what the largest ship in the world is?? I’m on it right now. It’s ROYAL CARIBBEANS SYMPHONY of the SEA. This ship is unbelievable. This is a brand new ship. It just arrived to the United States in November and it’s home is Miami. You definitely need a camera for lots of pictures on this amazing new ship. If you are looking for a new camera check out these from amazon. It’s 1188 feet long and 215.5 feet wide. Think about the size of a football field (360×160). The Symphony is more than 3 times the length of a football field and more than double the width.…
